Travel plans
I know I’ve been a bit slack lately with posting but to be honest life has been a little boring.
I do however have some exciting news, I am off to Canada and New York City in April to stand by my soul sister’s side as she marries the man of her dreams.
We met almost 10 years ago on a 33-day Europe Contiki tour and have remained amazing friends ever since. We’ve caught up in my hometown of Perth, in her hometown of Toronto, New York City and most recently Los Angeles in 2015.
Now I feel so excited and privileged to be one of her bridesmaids and experience my first Canadian wedding.
My mum and I will spend five nights in Toronto, two nights in Quebec City, three nights in Montreal with a day trip to Ottawa and five nights in New York – a dream of my mums for years.
I’m most looking forward to not planning any sightseeing and living like a local in these cities. If you have any recommendations please let me know below.
Following this two and a half week trip, I am off to Hong Kong and Cambodia in June with my godfather for an annual conference he attends. I’ve been to Hong Kong before but Cambodia will be my first time. I haven’t receive the partner’s program yet but I am excited to surround myself with Cambodian food, culture and sites such as Angkor Wat.
So far this is all that’s confirmed for 2017 but I will have a work ball in the eastern states in July and a management conference in an unknown destination in September. Hoping to also pick up another famil as amazing as Abu Dhabi later in the year.
Look forward to sharing more wanders soon.
