On the move

I have been a bit quiet lately following the celebrations of my 30th birthday but I am excited to announce that I have two trips planned, one of which is this weekend.

My partner and I have taken a last minute trip to Sydney gifted to us by my godparents. They had bought the trip for themselves to watch the Bledisloe Cup final against the All Blacks and Wallabies but aren’t able to attend due to illness. I don’t know anything about rugby but I’m happy to get on a plane and visit Sydney again.

On my last visit to Sydney

It’s another short trip of 48 hours but it hasn’t stopped me from making plans. We fly in at 8.30pm Friday night and I’ve booked dinner at the Sake Restaurant & Bar at The Rocks for 10pm – after all it’s only really 8pm Perth time!

I plan to find some good breakfast recommendations for Saturday and Sunday morning through @breakfastinsydney and do a bit of shopping Saturday. At 4pm Saturday afternoon we have a ferry ride along the harbour which takes us close to the stadium for the match.

I’m really looking forward to the weekend break!

Over Christmas and New Years we’ve booked Bali with friends staying at Peppers Seminyak in their 3 bedroom pool villa. Everyone else is going Christmas Eve but I’m not going until Boxing Day as I want to be in Perth for my nephew’s first Christmas.

I’m really excited to stay at Peppers Seminyak 5 star resort as I’ve sent a lot of clients there and have had good reviews. The villas and resort premises look amazing and it’s centrally located to Seminyak’s main attractions.

I may also have a trip to Canada in the works – my soul sister from Toronto just got engaged which is very exciting. I can’t wait to find out about her wedding plans. And my best friend wants to do Vegas for her 30th in December. So lots to organise.

I will share all about Sydney next week.
