In two minds
I know I’ve been a bit slack lately with posts, but it’s hard to stay inspired when I’m not wandering outside of my home city.
I haven’t made any travel plans as I am considering moving to Toronto next year, and while that’s still a consideration, I need to keep my focus on that.
So what’s drawing me to Toronto? I have a visa approved ready to go, the company I work for has an office over there so I can transfer, it’s a big city, change of scenery and lifestyle, I can make new friends, new career opportunities, more travels especially in North and South America and across to Europe, and it’s the home city of one of my best friends.
With all these pros also comes the cons that are drawing me away, such as enjoying time with friends and family too much, feeling content with myself and in my surroundings, financial commitments, going back to a share house and share bathroom, loving my current job and clients, and blue skies and amazing sunsets.
So I have until the beginning of June to move to Canada and keep my visa active… should I go? Watch this space!
Lucky for me I’ve scored an educational trip with Infinity Holidays to Malaysia in January visiting Kuala Lumpur and Penang. We will be doing a mix of hotel visits and some of the best experiences. They are always whirlwind trips but I love being on the go. It’s also something to look forward to in the meantime while I’m figuring Canada out.
I have some time off work over New Years as well and am thinking about spending it in Melbourne with one of my best friends. It will very much be a last minute thing.
Next week I will be sharing what my girlfriends and I got up to for Melbourne Cup day in Perth.
