Melbourne Cup in style
Yesterday I attended my first Melbourne Cup event in years and it was a great day out.
My sister and I went to Suited The Melbourne Cup event to support my beautiful bestie Ivanna Fontana who was producing and styling the fashion shows featuring Something Borrowed Perth, Jessica Bratich, Jonte Designs, MJ Bale and Betts Shoes.
The event was on the South Perth foreshore overlooking the pretty Perth city skyline and featured VIP and general admission areas. There were fun horse flower sculptures, a screen for the main race, a band, DJ, fairy lights and more, just no betting which I wasn’t organised for.
In the VIP area we received canapés, five alcoholic drinks, complimentary water and a marquee to escape the sunshine. It was great atmosphere and fun to dress up and hang out with my sister.
