Lunch by the sea
Last week I enjoyed lunch at new beach side cafe Odyssea in the Perth suburb of City Beach.
With a mid week day off and my sister soon to have her baby, we decided to have a mother daughter lunch date at Odyssea, overlooking City Beach.
The restaurant provided an amazing view through its floor to ceiling windows and felt very fresh with all its green plants. The decor was modern with a beach-y feel.
My sister and I had the tagliatelle with prawns, cherry tomatoes, kale and smoked ricotta. It looked and tasted great.
My mum had the Korean style BBQ pork belly with cucumber kimchi and blood plums. I had a taste of the pork and it had amazing flavours that just melted in your mouth.
As we were going to visit our cousin for afternoon tea, we opted not to have any dessert, so no photos sorry!
On our departure it was difficult not to admire the view of Perth’s stunning coastline.
