Summer break

I really can’t believe how quick this year has gone. I don’t know if goes quicker the older you get or if it’s cause we get busier and busier each year, but it seemed to fly by!

So what have I accomplished this year? It’s been an exciting year for me. I decided to make a career change into travel consulting. It’s been a fun and challenging five months but I’m really enjoying my new role and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.

I also launched Lady WanderLuxe and have enjoyed sharing an insight into my life most Wednesdays. I would like to recognise my guest bloggers Tabetha Beggs Rogers and AR Traveller who have helped fill the gap while I haven’t been travelling.

I got my very first Chanel… haha!

I went on my longest holiday since 2011, travelling to the United States of America for one month. Even though it feels like a lifetime ago, it was one of my most memorable holidays and I absolutely loved it.

From dining at celebrity hang outs, to meeting up with my Canadian soul sister, to taking my very first helicopter ride, to going to an NBA play offs game, to riding on the side of a cable car and ticking Disney World off my list.

It’s also been a big year for my family. My sister announced she is expecting a baby (yay) and my brother recently got engaged (yay) so there’s lots of exciting things to come in 2016.

I’m working through the summer break this year but will enjoy the long weekends. I can’t believe it’s my first New Year’s at home in six years! After the craziness of Christmas, I am planning to enjoy some beach time, shop at the post-Christmas sales and relax.

This is my final post for the year – the blog will be returning in mid January. Here’s to plenty more luxe wandering in 2016!
