Sake love

Whilst in Sydney for the weekend I wanted to enjoy some good food, and with Japanese being one of our favourite cuisines, we booked dinner at Sake Restaurant at The Rocks.

With a flight into Sydney at 8.30pm I made dinner reservations for 10pm which was so convenient and different to Perth. And we had until 11.30pm for last orders – perfect for our late arrival into this beautiful city.

We started with a refreshing beverage of course – me the Miss Wednesday cocktail which featured lychees.

For dinner we have the ‘New Classics’ chef’s menu comprising nine individual dishes all of which were just devine. My favourites were the crispy rice and beef tataki.

After dinner we digested with a walk around Sydney Harbour, which is right next to The Rocks. It was a perfect night to take in the view.
